My name is Simon, and I am the founder and designer of Cuebear Children's Furniture. Cuebear is a professional brand specializing in children's furniture, with bean bags as our main products. Our aim is to provide children with a happy and comfortable living space. The name "Cuebear" originates from my favorite childhood teddy bear, which brought me countless joys and warmth. I aspire to pass on this feeling to more children, offering them a cute companion and a cozy corner.

Since I was a child, I have had a passion for drawing and doing handicrafts, and I possess a keen sense of color and shape. Becoming an artist or designer has always been my dream. Unfortunately, due to family circumstances, I never had the opportunity to receive formal art education. Instead, I embarked on a journey of self-learning and practice. Despite having held various jobs, I have not found true fulfillment and happiness in any of them.

However, one day, I stumbled upon a bean bag sofa on the internet that immediately captivated me. It was shaped like an adorable rabbit, with vibrant orange and blue colors. I believed it would be a perfect addition to a kids' room, providing them with a space to play, read, and relax. Intrigued by the idea, I decided to buy one for my nephew as a birthday present.

To my disappointment, the bean bag I received did not live up to the beautiful pictures online. Its appearance was lackluster, the color was dull, the texture was rough, and the padding was hard and uncomfortable to sit on. Even my nephew did not show much interest in it, merely playing with it briefly before discarding it. I felt a mix of sadness and anger, as I believed such a product was unworthy of children and did not meet my expectations and standards. It was at that moment that I began to imagine what I would do differently if I were designing bean bags. What materials, colors, and shapes would I use? How could I make them cuter, cozier, and more enjoyable?

From that point, an idea took root in my mind. I decided to create a DIY bean bag for my nephew. I extensively researched how to make a bean bag sofa, explored various materials, and purchased fabrics, threads, needles, scissors, zippers, and EPP particles. EPP particles, an environmentally friendly and non-toxic filler with excellent elasticity and support, allowed the bean bag to mold itself according to the body's shape.

Over the course of a few days, I dedicated myself to sewing the bean bag at home while simultaneously sketching out my design. Considering my nephew's love for Shiba Inus, I utilized orange and yellow fabric to fashion the dog's body and ears, while black fabric served for the eyes. I purposefully accentuated the mouth and nose to better highlight the Shiba Inu's characteristics. A zipper was added to the bottom of the bean bag for easy filling and cleaning, and EPP granules were poured inside to achieve a plump and soft feel. I even playfully raised the puppy's ears to give it a lively and cute appearance. I named my creation "Jake."

When I presented the Shiba Inu bean bag to my nephew, his delight knew no bounds. He embraced the bean bag tightly, kissed it on the cheek, and declared it his favorite gift. It found a permanent place in his room, where he played, read, and rested with it every day. He proclaimed that the Shiba Inu bean bag was his best friend and expressed his love for it. Witnessing his radiant smile, I couldn't help but share in his happiness. I felt that all my hard work had been worthwhile, and a sense of pride washed over me.

Word soon spread among my nephew's friends, who also fell in love with the Shiba Inu bean bags. They all desired bean bags of their own, eagerly asking if I could make them one or direct them to a place where they could purchase such bean bags. Recognizing this as a remarkable opportunity, I contemplated the idea. Perhaps I could transform my hobby into a career, and maybe, just maybe, I could realize my dream of becoming a designer. And so, I embarked on my entrepreneurial journey.

I created an Instagram account with the username and brand name "Cuebear." Through this platform, I shared photos and videos showcasing Cuebear's features, advantages, and various ways it could be used. I also established an online shop, allowing interested individuals to place orders conveniently. I began offering custom services, designing different bean bag sofas tailored to customers' specific requirements. To further expand our offerings, I introduced new styles and themes, including black cats, piggies, and cat's paws.

This is the story of Cuebear—an extraordinary dream that originated from a simple idea and flourished through unwavering dedication and persistence. Cuebear is not merely a product; it embodies a concept. I hope that through Cuebear, every child can find a delightful companion and a comfortable corner, where they can experience warmth and love as they grow. Additionally, I aspire to realize my dream of becoming an exceptional designer and make valuable contributions to the children's furniture industry.
